The Disaster Assistance Center has closed.
The DAC will be a hub for information about a variety of services and resources. There will be a variety of county and city departments and staff available to answer questions, provide forms, and help guide families through the recovery process. There will also be information from a variety of non-profits and other organizations seeking to help fire victims.
The Red Cross will distribute cash cards at Shadle Park High School in the MATT Room (wrestling room), located downstairs and accessible through the Auxiliary Room where the DAC was previously set up. The Department of Licensing is also on site for anyone who needs an ID to receive a gift card. Red Cross will be present through Aug. 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
